Z Spoke
Zac Posen grew up in New York's SoHo district in the 1980s, when fashion and art began to thrive in the old warehouse district. After attending school and living in London for a period of time, Zac returned to New York and his own line was launched with the help of stars, such as Natalie Portman, one of the first to wear his designs. One of the most important aspects of design for Zac is "to physically make the clothing, and then put it on as many different kinds of people as you can to see how they feel in it, and find your vision and put it out there."
The Fall 2011 Z Spoke line is a collection of edgy, yet wearable pieces with a feminine touch to flatter the female body. The looks are sophisticated, chic and strive for quality and functionality.
